The idea of having a 64GB card in your camera is a bizarre. I get a quite many of pictures in RAW, but I sparse if once run up against the edge of my 8GB card. I mean, you are shooting digitally as well as routine offload various your images, right?Well, The only way maybe I could thought of where this could be useful is one where you really sure have to shoot various thousands of images in a line(somehow the battery should last long)without ever switch from another card or dumping them into your picture editor. When was the last time you got 4000 pictures in one leave?
I think people shoot high-definition video maybe find usefulness. You would have to have a bunch of their in array, because data throughput now is pretty restricted (the SanDisk one goes at a poky 9 until 15MB/s). Yet on $350 per card, you are paying way more each gig better than you will just obtained a 1.8″ SSD or even two — as well as they have got fantastic write numbers. Plus, once again, you had probably run out of battery before you run out of room, even shooting at 4K or something else.
There is really no bazaar for these current, unless I am facing something. Not that I do not think it is cool , I mean, it is totally sci-fi that I can carry around my entire music collection in the coin pocket of my jeans, but really now there is no reason for it. Give it a year, although these things would be looking far more practical.
