Sobees for Facebook
Is attempting to meet the market need. Open Sobees for Facebook, interact with your Facebook account to see Facebook inside a whole new way. The app delivers Facebook content on its internet site with the design of a web-based newspaper. Tap “People,” and view your set of friends by thumbnails of the profile pictures. Photos shows friends and family latest in stacks exactly like the iPad’s photo app. Events are shown on a calendar, and you can view your own Profile.
Reprogram your status by tapping the familiar “Write” button. There does not appear to be ways to upload photos or video via the app, and commenting within the status of others means typing blind the iPad keyboard covers the comment box high’s not a way to scroll it into view.
AIM For iPad
enables you to connect to a number of services: Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Foursquare, YouTube, MySpace, Delicious and Digg, and lets you chat along with your friends on those services. Commenting on the statuses of others is preferable to on Sobees you can see the comment box as you type.
Gowalla
can be a social media service that permits you to add friends from a number of sources (Facebook, Gmail, etc.). From the mobile device, you check in along with your location (restaurants, retailers, etc.). You may also view where your friends have recently checked in.
The iPhone version of Gowalla lets you look for friends and add spots this can’t be performed on the iPad version. When you’re associated with the net, however, you’ll be able to sign in, and also see where your friends are.
RallyUp for iPad
Comparable to Gowalla but emphasizes privacy it’s social network amongst your present circle of friends –provided they belong to RallyUp, that’s. The app does enable you to search your Contacts for current RallyUp members after which add them, so they can invite people as part of your Contacts to partake of RallyUp.
