Memory manufacturer SanDisk has just unleashed its new USB flash drive line, touted as the smallest USB flash drive that the company has ever made.
The new USB flash drive is called the SanDisk Cruzer Blade. This new Cruzer Blade line has weight about the same as a U.S. penny, and is approximately as small as standard paper clip. So fitting it into your pocket or pants isn’t going to give you any inconvenience.
The Cruzer Blade is really small, but it is really not the smallest flash drive ever — Engadget tells that the manufacturer was keen to stress that this is by no means the smallest Flash drive ever; just the smallest that the company has ever made.
The Cruzer Blade is now heading to the US and Canada market with sizes come in four modelss: 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, as well as 16GB. According to the maker, a 4GB Cruzer Blade is capable of saving up to 1,000 songs, 1,200 high-res images, or 8 hours of 768kb/s movie. Prices start at $14.99 with the most expensive model coming in at $77.99.
